I’ve returned to film photography and darkroom printing after a long hiatus. I shoot in black and white and have recently ventured into color work, including color printing with RA-4 chemistry. I treat my photography as a kind of daily practice — whether I am shooting, developing, printing, tidying, matting, or simply reflecting on what it is to capture light.

Recently, I themed my SCLA 102 Transformative Texts class around analogue photography and the practice of active seeing.

I work mainly in medium format and have begun to expand into the 4×5 large format world. I print with a 40 year old Durst M605 and CLS450 enlargers in a custom configured darkroom.
