I’ve returned to film photography and darkroom printing after a long hiatus. I shoot in black and white and have recently ventured into color work, including color printing with RA-4 chemistry. I treat my photography as a daily practice — whether I am shooting, developing, printing, tidying, matting, or simply reflecting on what it is to capture light.
I work mainly in medium format and have begun to expand into the 4×5 large format world. I print with a 40 year old Durst M605 and CLS450 enlagers in a custom configured darkroom.
I’ll occasionally post scans of prints that I enjoy, but if you’d like to see more or are interested in the process and product of analog photography check out my ko-fi page: https://ko-fi.com/jglavin
